Traditional Mohair Collectable Vintage Artists Bear
A cute little vintage bear with a sweet face we call Bo. He is 10.5 inches / 26 cms standing and 7 inches / 18cm when sat, he weighs 282 grams.
He is fully jointed and has a hard head, arms and legs and his body is soft (part pellet filled), his fur is grey mohair, the pile about 10mm long and quite soft to touch. He has a black hand sewn nose and mouth. His label is sewn into the back seam which is white and embroidered with 'Bo Bears For The Collector Farley Wilts’ in red
.Characteristics
Due to his soft filled body he slumps lazily to one side. His right paw faces up slightly, the other towards his body, his feet are quite even.
Bo Bear's Story
He was hand made by a bear artist called Bo Bears in the late 80s to early 90’s and was exhibited at Business & Design Centre in Islington, London, where I exhibited my own hand made bears. My Mum accompanied me to the Bear Festivals and this is where she first saw Bo and took him home.
For the next 25 years he lived with my parents along with many more of my bear creations. Mum, now elderly, decided she had too many bears which limited space to sit for themselves, so I took him home to live with me bringing a few of his friends along too and so here in Buckinghamshire is where they have lived for the last 4 years. He has not really been cuddled or played with very much at all so despite his age of about 29 years he is in excellent condition and is now looking for a new home. Both homes are non smoking.

Eyes - 10mm black safety eyes
Filling - Polyester
Bo is a Collectors Bear and has a CE label.
He will be nicely packed and sent tracked and signed for to ensure he arrives safely.
