One of a kind Mohair Traditional Collector Artist Bear
Dimples Story
Dimples was born on 10th November 1993, she was hand made by me 'Paws & Claws' when I was a busy Bear Artist in the 1980's and 1990s. She was exhibited at Hove Town Hall in Brighton in 1993, and Hugglets Bearfest London in 1994 where my mum who accompanied me to the Bear Festivals took her home to live with her.
For the next 26 years she has lived with my parents along with many more of bears. Mum, now elderly, decided she had too many bears which limited space to sit for themselves, so I took Dimples along with a few other bears and brought them home to live with me, this is where she has stayed for the last 4 years. Both homes are non smoking. She has not really been cuddled or played with very much at all so despite her age of 30 years she is in excellent condition and is now looking for a new home.
Dimples is a 'One of a Kind' bear made from my own original pattern. She is 13.5 inches / 34cms inches standing and 9.5 inches / 24cm when sat down, she weighs 390 grams.
She is fully jointed and has a hard body with soft creamy white mohair fur fabric which is 1 - 1.5 cm long with double stitched seams and her pads are made from thick beige leather/suede. She is hard filled with polyster fibre. She has a hand embroidered pink nose and mouth and muzzle is filled with wood wool at the tip, her claws are sewn with pink and she also has pink dimples on her muzzle. The label is sewn in the back seam which is dark green with 'Paws & Claws Collector Bears' sewn on it in gold writing.
Characteristics
Dimples sits upright, her left foot turns out and the right foot is straight up when she sits. Her left paw faces forward, right paw slightly downwards. She has a little mark on her left foot which I believe is part of the leather.

Pads Fabric - Suede.
Nose - Embroidered with pink thread.
Eyes - Glass 10mm amber with black pupil
Joints - 5 Traditional Cotter pin 1 1/2 inch / 3.80 cms
Filling - Dacron/polyester
Dimples is a Collectors Bear and unfortunately not suitable for children under the age of 14 years.
She be nicely packed and sent tracked and signed for to ensure she arrives safely.
